Terms & Conditions
Payment Terms - All Weddings/Event payments are divided into thirds. Your first payment is a non-refundable deposit to reserve the date and time. Second payment is required upon arrival at the event. Your final payment is due upon completion of the edits and delivery or pick up the final product. Other payment due dates are varied depending on type of service and duration. All payments shall be processed with a third party Square and so shall the contract/service agreement between both parties. No part of any order, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full. Weekly and monthly payment plans are available depending on budget and price total. All payment plans will appear on the agreed contract/Invoice from Square.
Hours of Operation- Voiture Garcon Production operates Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm for booked events only. Monday-Friday 8am-11pm for the acceptance of consultation appointments reserved online or by phone only. Hours are subject to change without notice depending on booking calendar. Weekends are reserved for most event dates. Wednesdays are VGP official editing day and will still be able to accept consultation appointments. If a clients event is destined on a Wednesday Voiture Garcon Productions shall make an exception given the booking date is in advanced. Hours for phone appointments are 8am-5pm Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday.
Retainer - At time of signatory of your contract an invoice of the reservation fee shall be given, Voiture Garcon Productions will reserve the time and date agreed upon and shall make no other reservations for that time. Voiture Garcon Productions may use substitutes or subcontractors in the fulfillment of all or part of the contracted services. If payments are not received by the date specified, Voiture Garcon Productions may cancel reservation, payment schedule, times, dates, locations, and other important information that is specified on your contract.
Production - The client is welcome to pick up the product in person, via email, Jumpshare or they may have it shipped to them. Production editing usually takes up to 8 weeks to complete. If completed earlier than expected, client shall receive a call or email. CLIENT MUST PICK UP FINAL PRODUCT WITHIN 60 DAYS. After 60 days client loses right to raw footage and the 1 on 1 editing session, client will only receive the edited version on a flash drive. Note the 1 on 1 edit session is to take no more than 2 hours. Any time after the 2 hours of editing the customer will be charged at a rate of $40.00 per hour. Client is allowed one cancellation for the review appointment, any cancellation after there will be a charge of $15 per cancellation. Any extra tolls, parking fees, etc., will be added to the final payment.
Copy Rights - By signing your contract, the client is acting for all members of the party and guests and grants Voiture Garcon Productions all rights for display, broadcast, exhibition, promotion, and advertising use of all images produced under your contract. Voiture Garcon Productions releases all rights to said client on contract. Client may opt out of this if they do not wish for Voiture Garcon Productions to use their content. It is ILLEGAL to copy or reproduce these photographs or videos elsewhere without Voiture Garcon Productions permission, and violators of this federal law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties.
Environment - The client is aware that restrictions imposed by other (church, reception hall, guest, etc.) and the constraints of the physical environment, safety, weather, can affect the quality and extent of the video coverage possible. Voiture Garcon Productions guarantees coverage of all events only within the bounds of any restrictions and constraints of the physical environment, safety, weather. Voiture Garcon Productions cannot guarantee coverage of outside events during inclement weather. The client is responsible for obtaining all permissions and clearances, etc., and adequate shelter for inclement weather and extreme temperatures required by Voiture Garcon Productions to operate.
Locations - Voiture Garcon Productions address is not a studio and will not be accepting appointments there. The listed address is used for billing and mailing purposes only. VGP will leave it up to the client to choose location or VGP can decide on behalf.
Cancellation - In the event of postponement or cancellation of the event/contract, prior to 2 weeks of the event, the amount paid will be returned, however the reservation fee is non-refundable. If cancellation is made less than fourteen days remaining to the event, no refunds will be made. Certain services booked are subject to a no-show fee if no cancellation or reschedule date is given 24 hours before appointment.
Production Liability - Voiture Garcon Productions will provide the utmost care and respect with the production, post production, and delivery of the product. However, in the event that Voiture Garcon Productions fails to comply with the terms of this contract, due to any event at or beyond the control of Voiture Garcon Productions, including but not limited to: illness, accidents, labor disputes, and other catastrophes, or uncontrollable and unforeseeable equipment failure, Voiture Garcon Productions liability is limited only to refund of monies received. Client is aware that color dyes in photography may fade or discolor over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes, and Client releases Photographer from any liability for any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discoloration due to such inherent qualities.
General - Voiture Garcon Productions may revise these terms from time to time. VGP will try to notify the client of material revisions. By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by revised Terms & Conditions.
